In 1982 a group of women in Mendocino County, U.S.A. decided to start a branch of the National Women’s Political Caucus. In January 2012 the members voted to leave this organization and form their own organization, which is now known as the Mendocino Women’s Political Coalition.

MWPC Sage Circle
The name Sage Circle was chosen to communicate that our mission is to tap into our own collective wisdom and that of our foremothers in order to achieve MWPC goals by engaging in thoughtful, dynamic, and creative decision making.
